Keep Your Pen Moving
A workshop for anyone who wants bulgy hand muscles

Monday April 5th
1-4pm
The Whaletown Institute

Drop what you’re doing for an Easter Monday afternoon of creativee writing exercises to get your heart pumping and your hand dancing across the page. We’ll write quickly and slowly, seriously and playfully, letters, poems, tributes, rants, memories, tiny stories and passionate diatribes. Come to dip your toes into the beautiful worlds of your own words.
Ideal for beginner writers, seasoned writers, stuck writers, writers-in-waiting, writers with day jobs, writers who don’t call themselves writers just yet, and anyone who wants a date with their creative selves.

Chris Kay Fraser is a Torontonian with a bit of a thing for Cortes Island. Some of you will know her from the 3-day novel contest. Currently, she works as a one-to-one writing coach, and teaches weekly, monthly and correspondence classes in creative writing and memoir-writing through her small business, Footprint Memoirs. Chris holds a Master’s Degree in Adult Education, examining the role of the creative writing as a tool of community building and personal growth. See: www.footprintmemoirs.com.
